A full tour around natural reserve Dokdo Island
Dokdo Island features two separate islands - Dongdo and Seodo - and 89 smaller annexed islands. Dokdo is home to birds such as the band-rumped storm petrel and black-tailed gull, and it features a distinct flora that is different from other inland ecosystems. Furthermore, due to its significant geological value as a volcanic island, Dokdo has been designated and managed as a natural reserve (Natural Monument no. 336).
Today, with interest in Dokdo is rising, a large number of people are visiting Dokdo Island. However, since public access is restricted to most parts of the Island, appreciating Dokdo in its full glory can be very difficult. As such, Exhibition Hall #1 features aerial photography and 360-degree VR videos of Dokdo Island to help visitors learn and understand the Island better.
